Amanda & Gavin are an awesome couple! They married on North Burleigh beach, on an absolutely beautiful Spring day on the Gold Coast.
On the morning of the Wedding, i arrived firstly at the venue, North Burleigh Surf club.Their room upstairs was beautifully dressed, and the Ocean view was spectacular! .
Next stop was to Amanda & Gavin’s stunning home, for a couple of informal photos with the lads. The boys were all relaxed, drinking a glass of champers by the pool.The lads all looked great in their waistcoats and shirts.Really dapper, perfect for a beach wedding!.
I left the lads and went to Indigo Blue hotel in Burleigh, just a few hundred metres from where the ceremony was going to take place.Amanda was here with her parents and sisters.The girls were having makeup done, and all looked gorgeous!.The view from the Hotel was amazing! The ocean was particularly Turquoise that day, and i could see Whales spouting in the distance!.Awesome!
Amanda’s dress was beautiful! Lacey bodice with Satin, very elegant, and her sisters, who were Bridesmaids complimented her perfectly in their Navy lace dresses.All girls carried a beautiful bouquet of Roses.
Amanda’s dad looked so proud when he saw her all dressed.A lovely moment to witness. Amanda looked amazing! I left the girls at the Hotel to walk over to the beach.The area next to the rocks was a perfect choice for the ceremony.Especially as the wind was really picking up by now.The rock provided some shelter from the coastal breeze.
The styling of the beach ceremony was totally stunning! Guests began to arrive, and make their way down the beach. Gavin looked out to the sea, while he waited for Amanda to make her entrance. Bridesmaids led the way, then an excited Amanda with her proud dad beside her to give her away.When Gavin looked back and saw Amanda walk down the sandy aisle towards him, he was all beaming smiles.You could see how proud of her he was. Pure Love, Amazing!
A beautiful ceremony was conducted, they exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss.They signed the marriage register & they were declared Husband & Wife!.
I did a large group photo of all guests on the beach( what an amazing backdrop!), and some family photos, and then i took Bride & groom off to the other side of the rock at the Lookout, for some special couple shots there.awesome views of Surfers paradise skyline from up there!.Breathtaking!
Guests made their way into the Surf Club for the meal, and a lovely selection of speeches followed.They cut their gorgeous cake later in the evening & shared a first dance.The guests partied the night away & everyone was having an amazing time!.Fabulous day!
Amanda & Gavin, thankyou for booking me to capture your special day!.They were one of the first couples to book me here in Australia. Gavin is originally from the UK, not far from where i used to live in fact,!..So as a fellow pom booking, that meant the world! Gavin & Amanda are a brilliant couple.Totally made for each other.I wish you a lifetime of Love, Laughter & a Happy Ever After
